[MEMBER COs] [How to Join PIP]

How to Join Process Industry Practices

Eligibility

Membership in PIP is voluntary and open to those companies that have a vested interest in the total quality and cost effectiveness of the process and related industries either as an owner company or as an engineering design and/or construction company serving these owners. Members are classified as “owners” or “contractors”. The consortium has one category of membership. Each member company is entitled to one vote on any team or committee and is entitled to designate one principal and one alternate representative to each team or committee.

Participation

Member companies must provide an active member for the Steering Team and an active qualified participant for at least one of the Function Teams. More active participation is encouraged and Members may appoint participants for each Function Team and for other active committees and teams. On a voluntary basis, Members provide their non-proprietary internal standards for harmonization of industry practices. In addition, members voluntarily adopt and implement published PIP Practices and support PIP's business guidelines and commitment to the process.

Dues

Annual dues are $25,000 and have been unchanged since the start of PIP in 1993.
